Jenni grew up in the small town of Dayton, Texas, hunting and fishing with her dad and granddad and playing basketball. In 2006, she joined the local 4-H club and began shooting skeet and trap with the group at Pecan Meadows in Liberty. After going to a few competitions with the team, she quickly realized this was something she wanted to pursue. Letting go of her love for basketball she shot 4-H for almost one year. Right after she competed in the Texas State 4-H Shoot in 2007, she decided to dive into sporting clays. From then on, she trained and went to shoots trying to reach all the goals she set for herself. She discovered an incredible passion for sporting clays and became very competitive.

In 2009 she completed her first major goal and made her first All-American team; since then she has been on 4 All-American teams and 3 Team USA’s. The new love for shotgun shooting sparked an interest in Olympic shooting. She began competing in international trap and in 2009 won a gold medal in the Junior Olympics. Now she focuses on sporting clays and shoot with the Carlisle Academy, and is also blessed to be on Team Beretta and sponsored by Pure Gold Chokes. She currently attends Trinity University where she competes on the Trap and Skeet team.
